Last week, we finished machining and sanding down all the parts and put it all together! The pogo pins connected perfectly with the target (smaller) PCBs and we were able to demo Armari to our advisers.
Deji and Miguel worked extensively to get the app UI running and capable of:
1. Initializing an item of clothing
2. Indicating with LEDs where it should be stored
3. Retrieving it from storage
4. Returning it back into the shelf
They will continue to work on the UI in order to work out some bugs and integrate the calendar feature. Helen is working to further train and improve the classification algorithm, while also creating the poster for Symposium. As Professor Bedi and Professor Kennings recommended, we will also now include some examples of the different possible configurations with Armari in our display in order to showcase the product's versatility and flexibility.
With less than 5 days to Symposium, the team is very excited to show off Armari.
